Two 'Halloween' Games Are In The Works, One In Development Using Unreal Engine 5

John Carpenter will be "intimately involved".

It's been revealed today that two brand-new games based on the famous Halloween franchise are in the works at Boss Team Games; the publisher behind 2022's Evil Dead: The Game. Details on these projects are thin on the ground at the moment, but we do know that one of the titles is being made using Unreal Engine 5 - and series creator John Carpenter will be "intimately involved" with the project.

As per IGN, players will be able to "relive moments from the film and play as classic characters" from Halloween. Carpenter says that he's "thrilled to help bring Michael Myers to life again in this game", which doesn't have any announced platforms just yet.
