Expedition 33 Update 1.4.0 Now Live On Xbox, Here Are The Patch Notes

Including "one of our most requested QoL additions".

One of 2025's best games across any platform is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and it's just received a new update with a few cool features - with a highlight being described as "one of our most requested Quality of Life additions".

That addition is the "Battle Retry Prompt", which allows you to instantly jump back into a battle after you've failed, rather than being forced to navigate your way to the fight again. There are some other really neat extras here too, such as a better way to plan your Luminas and separate volume sliders for both exploration and combat.
