In the year 2020, North Korean forces led by General Ri-Chan Kyong seize control of the remote Lingshan Islands in the Pacific. Stationed there, a team of American civilian archaeologists led by Dr. Rosenthal sends out an urgent distress call, claiming to have unearthed a discovery that could change the world forever. A week later, the United States Army dispatches Raptor Team, an elite Delta Force squad, to the islands with orders to evacuate the scientists and secure whatever they have found.
