Rockstar's First Red Dead Online Update In Years Channels 'Undead Nightmare' Energy

Is it coming back?!

Three years ago, Rockstar Games basically pulled the plug on Red Dead Online; ending development on major updates for the game to focus on making GTA 6. Well, this week (in typically random Rockstar fashion), the team has added "a new set of four eerie Telegram Missions" for the first time in years that channel serious Undead Nightmare energy from the first Red Dead Redemption.

Yep, these Telegram Missions ask RDO players to "track down undead plagues, rogue automations, swamp beasts, and more". The new Red Dead Online missions have gone live today, July 1st, in Rockstar's first major update for the title since 2022 - and they're apparently 'Volume 1', with more to come in future.
