Oblivion Remastered Dev Hit With Layoffs As Company 'Restructures' In 2025

Sorry to be the bearer of yet more bad news, but it's come out today that Oblivion Remastered developer Virtuos has been hit by some pretty strong layoffs - as employees across Asia and Europe are affected.

Following reports earlier in the day, Eurogamer managed to get an official response from the studio, which confirms that 7% of staff have been affected by these cuts. We'll throw the team's statement on the matter down below:
