Reaction: GTA 6 Could Be The Star Of The Xbox Series X|S Generation

Finally, a proper current-gen experience from Rockstar.

Well, the cat's out of the bag - Grand Theft Auto 6 launches for Xbox Series X and S in 2025. We've been thinking about Rockstar's next open world epic basically since Red Dead Redemption 2 launched back in 2018 - and we're glad we can finally talk about GTA 6 in an official capacity. After poring over the first trailer today we don't have too much to say about the content of the game itself yet, but we do think it could turn out to be a real 'Xbox Series' star.

Coming off the back of 'Trailer 1' — which launched early due to a leak — a lot of the discussion so far has been around the platforms that GTA 6 will launch on. From what we've seen and heard, this is a current-gen console exclusive at launch - with no Xbox One or PC version of GTA 6 in sight.
